PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

ZEYNEP IGDELIOGLU Danışmanlık Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti. (“Company”) respects the privacy and security of your personal data.

This Privacy Notice has been prepared in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) to inform individuals who visit our website, complete our contact or preliminary assessment forms, communicate with our Company, or share personal data in connection with an advisory relationship.

1. Data Controller

Under KVKK, your personal data may be processed by ZEYNEP IGDELIOGLU Danışmanlık Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti., acting as the data controller, within the scope and for the purposes described in this Notice.

2. Personal Data That May Be Processed

Depending on the nature of your communication or application, the following personal data may be processed:

  • full name,

  • telephone number,

  • email address,

  • city and country information,

  • information and explanations provided through contact or advisory application forms,

  • where an advisory relationship is established, information necessary for contractual, invoicing, communication and engagement management purposes,

  • limited technical data required for the security and technical operation of the website.

The Company follows the principle of not collecting personal data that is not necessary for its services and communication processes.

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • receiving and assessing contact and advisory enquiries,

  • communicating with you and responding to your requests,

  • conducting preliminary assessments and evaluating engagement suitability,

  • planning and managing the advisory process where an advisory relationship is established,

  • managing proposal, contract, invoicing and payment processes,

  • managing meetings, documentation and communication flows,

  • fulfilling legal and contractual obligations,

  • establishing, exercising or protecting the Company’s legal rights,

  • ensuring information security, record security and the technical operation of the website,

  • complying with obligations arising from applicable legislation or requests from authorised public authorities.

Your personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and in accordance with applicable legal retention periods.

4. Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed on the basis of one or more of the legal grounds set out under Article 5 of KVKK, including where:

  • processing is expressly provided for by law,

  • processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract,

  • processing is necessary for the Company to comply with its legal obligations,

  • processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a legal right,

  • processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that such processing does not prejudice the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Where a particular processing activity requires explicit consent, such consent will be obtained separately and independently. The obligation to provide information is separate from explicit consent.

5. Methods of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected through:

  • contact and application forms available on the website,

  • email,

  • telephone,

  • in-person or online meetings,

  • contractual and advisory processes,

by wholly or partly automated means, or by non-automated means where the data forms part of a data filing system.

6. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred, only to the extent necessary for the relevant process and subject to appropriate security measures, to:

  • legal and financial advisers,

  • accounting and other professional service providers,

  • information technology, hosting and communication infrastructure providers,

  • relevant specialists or service providers where there is a clear and legitimate requirement within the advisory process,

  • legally authorised public institutions and authorities.

Any such transfer will be carried out solely for the purposes of providing the relevant service, fulfilling legal obligations or protecting legal rights, and in accordance with the conditions set out under Articles 8 and, where applicable, 9 of KVKK.

Your personal data will not be sold, rented or otherwise made available to third parties for unauthorised commercial purposes.

7. Retention and Security of Personal Data

Your personal data is retained for the period required by the purposes of processing and in accordance with the retention periods prescribed under applicable legislation.

Where the purpose of processing no longer exists and there is no legal obligation requiring continued retention, personal data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with applicable legislation.

The Company implements appropriate technical and administrative measures designed to prevent the unlawful processing of or access to personal data and to ensure its secure storage.

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:

  • learn whether your personal data is being processed,

  • request information regarding the processing of your personal data,

  • learn the purpose of processing and whether your personal data is being used in accordance with that purpose,

  • know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, within Türkiye or abroad,

  • request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,

  • request the deletion or destruction of personal data where the conditions prescribed by law are met,

  • request notification of any correction, deletion or destruction to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,

  • object to an outcome arising against you as a result of the exclusive analysis of your personal data through automated systems,

  • request compensation for damages arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.

9. How to Exercise Your Rights

You may submit requests regarding your rights under KVKK, clearly identifying yourself and the nature of your request, to:
